Heartland FFA Officers Attend COLT
The 2013-2014 Heartland FFA Officer team attended COLT Conference during the days of May 23-25. COLT was held at the Leadership Center in Aurora, Nebraska. This is a conference held specifically for chapter officers to learn leadership skills and how to uphold their chapter officer duties. The officers were able to discuss their Program of Activities for the upcoming year. They were able to communicate with other chapters’ officers to bring new ideas to their own chapter. This year’s officers were able to work with the newly elected Nebraska State Officer team and Southern Region Vice President, Wiley Bailey. The officers had a great time and bonded as a team. The officers that attended were Megan Boardman, Leah Friesen, Megan Friesen, Kelli Bergen, Parker Goertzen, Paige Mestl, and Cole Nickels.
