Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn May 6th, the Heartland Art Club hosted the annual high school art show and silent auction in the theater hallway of the school. The art show was judged in two categories 3-D and 2-D. Senior, Kaci Hiebner received the Best of Show in 2-D for an acrylic painting and also several Honorable Mentions. Sophomore, Owen Wurst received best of show for a 3-D clay box. Honorable Mentions were also awarded in these two categories. Receiving an Honorable Mention in 2-D artwork was Darrian Chase. In the 3-D category, the students that received Honorable Mentions were Sidney Dick and Ben Winter. The Art Club would like to thank the community members, faculty and staff, and parents in their support of purchasing the student artwork.
