Heartland FBLA's Membership Hits 30!!!
Heartland FBLA is excited to increase the membership of their chapter to 30 members. Itâs the largest group ever for Heartland FBLA. On August 27, Heartland FBLA had their first meeting of the year. The 2012-2013 theme is Igniting Innovation. Heartland FBLA is eager to compete at the State Leadership Conference in Omaha this year. The chapterâs officers are as follows: Ashley Quiring, President; Allison Braun, Vice President; Janelle Huebert, Secretary; Bailey Carr, Treasurer; Aubrey DeBraal, News Reporter; Colton Siebert, Historian; and Kaitlyn Quiring, Committee Representative.
President Ashley Quiring led the meeting by announcing the current officers. She explained the state goals for FBLA and gave information about our business competitions. The group also discussed FBLA t-shirts, Fall Leadership Conference and magazine sales. Next the group enjoyed playing games. The members branched off into different groups that played "Up Jenkins" and "Telephone Pictionary". The meeting was concluded with make-your-own ice cream sundaes.
Heartland FBLA is proud to have these new members: Freshmen Jason Burhoop, Dillon Scheil, McKenna Friesen, Rebekah Larson, Bailey Monnier, Eve Vanderneck, Haley Huebert, Owen Wurst, and Camryn Dick; and Sophomore Rachelle Allen. The returning members are Ashley Bittinger, Jordan Bittinger, Sara Brune, Mikaelyn Dick, Janelle Huebert, Ashley Quiring, Lincoln Ruybalid, Allison Braun, Bailey Carr, Aubrey DeBraal, Sidney Dick, Jonathan Larson, Morgan Michel, Tyler Brown, Tierney Casper, Gina Grady, Cody Kroeker, Kaitlyn Quiring, Sheppard Ruybalid and Colton Siebert.
