Annual High School Art Show

The annual high school art show was held in May. The art show was judged in two categories 3-D and 2-D. Senior, Katelyn Janzen received the Best of Show in 2-D for drawing and also several Honorable Mentions. Senior Jose Romo received best of show for a 3-D for a wood burning project as well as an Honorable Mention. Receiving an Honorable Mention in 2-D artwork was Owen Wurst, Eve Vanderneck, Jason Burhoop, Angelica Basset, Jule Dane, and Ethan Ang. In the 3-D category, the students that received Honorable Mention was Devon Stamp. The Art Club would like to thank the community members, faculty and staff, and parents in their support of purchasing the student artwork on the online art club silent auction. Other awards were recently received in elementary and secondary art from the Celebrating Art Contest. The students’ work will be published in the Spring 2016 book the best of today’s student artists.
