Breakout EDU-Literacy/Library
HCS 7th English Brokeout!!!
Students in Mrs. Ostmeyer's 7th Grade English class participated in a Breakout EDU game. Students were given the task of opening five sophisticated locking mechanisms within thirty minutes. Clues to opening the locks were hidden around the library. Some clues included secret messages with invisible ink that students decoded with a UV flashlight. This exercise was designed to promote team building, critical thinking, problem solving, and literacy/library skills. Students escaped with six minutes and thirty seconds left on the clock!!
