FBLA Members Attend Peru State College Business Competition

    Nineteen Heartland FBLA members participated in the Peru State College Business Competition on February 15. This business competition gave the Heartland FBLA members the opportunity to take practice tests to prepare for the State Leadership Conference held in Omaha on April 6-8. Tests were taken in the following areas:  Accounting, Business Communication, Business Ethics, Business Law, Business Math, Computer Concepts, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Introduction to Business, Keyboarding, Marketing, Personal Finance, Web Page Design, and Word Processing. The following students attended the competition: Leslie Braun, Ric Bulin, Aaron Buller, Sadie Carr, Timberly Carr, Rachael Dente, Ethan Hall, Jade Hiebner, Grace Janzen, Megan Kroeker, Colton Monnier, Odessa Ohrt, Harmon Perez, Bailey Peters, Halle Peters, Brittany Quiring, Jackson Stebbing, Kalea Wetjen, and Rhianna Wilhelm

    The following six members won eight awards: Ethan Hall 1st place Entrepreneurship and 2nd place Economics; Leslie Braun 2nd place Entrepreneurship and 2nd place Marketing; Kalea Wetjen 3rd place Keyboarding; Brittany Quiring 4th place Personal Finance; Colton Monnier 4th place Accounting; and Rhianna Wilhelm 4th place Word Processing. Congratulations to these Heartland FBLA members!
