HCS Student a Top Finalist in Essay Contest Recognizing His Mother
Heartland fifth-grader Lamar Gloystein was a top 10 finalist in the Nebraska American Mothers “What my Mother Means to Me” essay contest.
He was able to travel to the Nebraska Capitol on March 5 to be recognized along with the other finalists. Also in attendance were his parents, Jeff and Lacey, and his teacher, Tara Maltsberger.
Lamar read his essay to the group, and the focus was about all of the wonderful things his mother does for him.
