Board Working On H&H Co-op Renewal

In February of 2025 the boards of Heartland Community Schools and Hampton Public Schools entered into a 2-year cooperative sponsorship agreement for all high school and junior high school sports.  The cooperative sponsorship of sports began with the 25-26 school year for all sports other than high school football which will have it's inaugural H&H season this Fall.

As the co-op has now entered Year 2, the boards of education for Heartland Community Schools and Hampton Public Schools have begun to discuss the renewal of the co-op for another two-year term to include the 27-28 and 28-29 school years.  The boards of each respective partner-school have decided to reach a final decision on renewal prior to the end of the calendar year.  The Heartland board of education tentatively plans to vote on the renewal of the co-op for another two-year term at its regular December board meeting.
