FBLA Members Attend Fall Leadership Conference
The Nebraska FBLA Fall Leadership Conference was held September 25 in Lincoln. The conference was a one-day workshop for FBLA officers and members. This year's state theme is "Elevate Your Future."
The state officers shared the 2017-18 state goals during the Opening General Session. The speaker was Rhett Laubach from Oklahoma. His keynote was titled, "Torchbearers: How to be an actively engaged FBLA ambassador of awesomeness!" His presentation was designed to help members understand how to grow and strengthen their influence as it relates to growing and strengthening their FBLA chapter. Following the general session, the officers and members attended Business/Industry Sessions presented by Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance, Gallup, BCom Solutions, Hudl, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, and the UNL College of Education and Human Sciences. They also attended Program of Work Sessions titled Fueling Your Finanical Projects, Raising the Stakes with Sweepstakes, Nebraska FBLA Foundation Trust, Make your Mark with the March of Dimes, Elevate Your Program to the Top, What do all those letters stand for?, Elevate Your Future from FBLA to PBL, and State and National Projects.
