Five Students Attend Healthcare Day at SCC
On March 21, five students went with Mrs. Vnoucek to Healthcare Day at SCC in Lincoln.
They explored different career areas while gaining hands-on experience.
One area focused on pharmaceuticals technicians, and the students learned about pill packets.
Others explored the different nursing levels and practiced wound care.
Another opportunity was to explore the career of a dietitian. There the students learned about sugars and fat.
Overall, the students had an engaging day of learning and career exploration.
