Thirteen Students Inducted into NHS
On Monday, April 7, 13 students were inducted into the Heartland Community Schools National Honor Society Chapter.
The evening started with the current officers reviewing the four pillars that membership is based on. As each candle was lit, the qualities of Scholarship, Leadership, Character, and Service were outlined.
After the repeating of the pledge by new inductees, the officers for the 2025-26 school year were announced.
The outgoing senior members were recognized by sharing their future plans and were given gold chords to wear at the upcoming graduation ceremony.
The evening concluded with picture opportunities in the gym followed by cookies shared in the cafeteria.
