HCS Holds Academic Recognition Night
On December 6, before the varsity basketball games, HCS recognized students for their outstanding academic performance on the Spring 2024 Nebraska Student Centered Assessment Test and the ACT.
Students were recognized who scored advanced "College and Career Ready Benchmark" status. The NSCAS test was last school year's 3rd-8th graders. Grades 3-8 test in Math and ELA (English Language Arts), and Grades 5 and 8 also test in science.
This year's senior class was recognized for their high achievement on the ACT to date, according to the Southern Nebraska Conference, who score a 24 and above.
