Heartland FBLA Kicks Off a New Year
The Heartland Future Business Leaders of America are excited to begin a new year. Our 2020-21 FBLA officers are Kale Wetjen, President; Kaelyn Buller, Vice President; Lilly Carr, Secretary; Dawson Ohrt, Treasurer; Riley Goertzen, Reporter; Abigael Stebbing, Parliamentarian; and Ellyn Hall, Committee Representative. At our first meeting, President Wetjen shared the state theme for this year which is ASPIRE. He gave information about our business competitions, FBLA group t-shirt, magazine sales and Fall Leadership Conference coming up at the end of September. The group then enjoyed ice cream sundaes and two Kahoot games: The Price is Right and FBLA Trivia.
Heartland FBLA is happy to announce our new members: Juniors Joseph Nelson and Ayden Rea; Sophomores Eloise Casper and Felicity Johnson; and Freshmen Kaylee Goertzen, Hayden Mierau, Jordan Nolan, Naomi Onnen, Hunter Perez, Hudson Regier, Reese Regier, Ava Stebbing, Hendric Switzer, Mariah Tessman, and Nick Thieszen. Other returning members are: Seniors Kaelyn Buller, Tobin Glinsmann, Ellyn Hall, Cooper Regier, Wyatt Regier, and Gabi Siebert; Juniors Ashley Brown, Cynthia Cerveny, Ella Friesen, Eliza Lott, Elizabeth Mestl, Dawson Ohrt, Mason Regier, Abigael Stebbing, and Kale Wetjen; Sophomores Liliana Alvarez, Tucker Berger, Lilly Carr, Riley Goertzen, Savannah Hurlbut, Owen Mierau, Trev Peters, Garett Regier, and Ava Tessman.
