Heartland FBLA Members Attend Peru State College Business Contest
Seventeen Heartland FBLA members participated in the Peru State College Business Contest on February 7. This business competition gave the Heartland FBLA members the opportunity to take practice tests to prepare for the State Leadership Conference held in Omaha on April 5-7. Tests were taken in the following areas: Accounting, Business Communication, Business Ethics, Business Law, Business Math, Computer Concepts, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Introduction to Business, Keyboarding, Marketing, Personal Finance, Web Page Design, and Word Processing. The following students attended the competition: Kate Bergen, Aaron Buller, Kaelyn Buller, Sadie Carr, Timberly Carr, Tobin Glinsmann, Ellyn Hall, Grace Janzen, Colton Monnier, Odessa Ohrt, Brittany Quiring, Cooper Regier, Wyatt Regier, Erina Sakata, Gabi Siebert, Kalea Wetjen, and Rhianna Wilhelm
The following four members won five awards: Aaron Buller 3rd place Entrepreneurship; Brittany Quiring 1st place Word Processing; Odessa Ohrt 4th place Computer Concepts and 5th place Accounting; and Wyatt Regier 4th place Word Processing.
