During lunch on October 3rd, the Heartland FBLA Chapter welcomed guest speaker Nick Thieszen, a 2024 graduate of Heartland and current officer in the University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) chapter.
Nick spoke to members about his journey from high school FBLA to college leadership, emphasizing the skills and opportunities FBLA provides. He discussed how his involvement has helped him grow professionally and personally, and how those experiences connect to real-world business careers.
The visit provided a great opportunity for members to ask questions, gain advice, and be inspired by Nick’s experiences and success in pursuing a business-related career.
